“This sales report, here at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2011
shows that our distributor/dealer network has great confidence in
Flight Design,” confirmed Tom Peghiny, President of Flight
Design USA. “That we can reveal sales of this volume in the
USA, adding to the significant orders taken in Europe at Aero 2011
during April illustrates the market strength of our
brand.”
“We have taken 40 orders for the new C4 plus another 8
orders for Light-Sport Aircraft,” said Flight Design National
Sales Manager, John Gilmore. “This represents a excellent
start for the new C4 while continuing our market-leading pace in
the Light-Sport Aircraft sector.” The C4 was debuted in
Europe in April 2011. Flight Design has been the market leader in
LSA since the category was created in 2004. “These orders
reported are real product requests with money changing
hands,” he said. “Orders from the USA add to those
collected earlier this season in Europe. We now count more than 70
orders for the new four seat C4 while maintaining our lead in the
LSA sector through new orders.”

Flight Design USA also noted it is seeking new representatives
in selected areas of the USA. While showing strength across the
country, certain areas warrant additional dealerships to better
serve pilots interesting in buying and operating Flight Design
aircraft. The top management team from Flight Design USA and Flight
Design Germany is present at AirVenture 2011. “We would like
to speak to businesses interested in working with Flight Design and
will be available during the show,” noted Flight Design CEO
Matthias Betsch.
