JetTech Aerospace Launches World’s Only Completion Center

Exclusively Focused On The Boeing Business Jet

JetTech Aerospace announced the acquisition of Cascade Aerospace’s completion division based in Spokane, Washington at the NBAA Meeting and Convention this week. Established in 2008 to provide specialty services for the Boeing Business Jet including completions, refurbishments, and maintenance, the company will now operate as JetTech Aerospace.

Since its founding, the company has earned a reputation throughout industry for excellence. In a press conference today at the 63rd Annual NBAA Meeting and Convention, Stephen R. Taylor, President of Boeing Business Jets welcomed JetTech Aerospace as a designated completion center to meet the growing demand for superior completion capacity and commended the company for its track record of quality and delivery.

“The JetTech team has already demonstrated their ability to deliver a high quality executive Boeing Business Jet interior, leading to another very satisfied BBJ customer. In the face of an aggressive schedule, they completed the aircraft early—the mark of a well managed project and exceptional team," said Taylor.

The proven staff and management team of Cascade Aerospace USA — each with an average of 26 years aviation experience — will remain with the new company, including Bret Burnside who will continue to manage operations as president of JetTech Aerospace. “We see tremendous opportunity in providing the full spectrum of dedicated completion, refurbishment, modification, and maintenance capabilities for the Boeing Business Jet, at a new standard of service,” said Burnside. “We have built a company focused on customer satisfaction achieved by delivering quality, innovative design, excellence in execution, and full transparency throughout the process—from pricing to each and every resource working on the aircraft.”

JetTech's state-of-the-art, 52,000 square foot facility at Spokane International Airport includes extensive hangar floor space, shops, and six acres of ramp and aircraft storage, and is co-located with Associated Painters' new 41,000 square foot aircraft paint facility. JetTech’s proximity to Boeing's Business Jets Headquarters in Seattle, Washington provides immediate access to Boeing and a community of Boeing-focused resources. JetTech continues to enjoy high utilization and has one remaining completion slot available.

JetTech’s near-term capacity provides prospective clients with full range of services—from luxury interior completions and modifications to maintenance repair and overhaul—by a designated Boeing Business Jet Completion Center. JetTech also announced today that it has been selected to deliver full completion services including interior and exterior design, engineering, certification, fabrication, and installation for First Virtual Air’s new “green” Boeing Business Jet, slated for delivery in November 2010. The company will also provide ongoing maintenance services for the new aircraft.

In a related move, the company said it has been selected to deliver full completion services including interior and exterior design, engineering, certification, fabrication, and installation for First Virtual Air’s new “green” Boeing Business Jet, slated for delivery in November 2010. The company will also provide ongoing maintenance services for the new aircraft.

Mike Plymale, Director of Aviation for First Virtual Air, said JetTech was chosen based upon its proven track record of delivery, while maintaining strict cost and safety controls and its exclusive focus on the Boeing Business Jet. “JetTech was the only vendor to demonstrate full transparency, hands-on management, and provide dedicated teams,” said Plymale. “We know exactly what we were paying for, line-byline, and we know precisely who is working on the aircraft. The same dedicated professionals will work on our aircraft from start to finish.”

Plymale added that JetTech further distinguished itself by “having delivered the only Boeing Business Jet both on-time and under budget in the last five years.” It is expected to be completed in late 2011.

JetTech employed creative solutions to meet the owner’s requirements for both usability and comfort, tailored to his lifestyle, like a multi-purpose dining area that converts from a casual gathering space to a formal dining room thanks to cleverly designed ottomans that convert to individual tables or a full-size dining table at the touch of a button.
