Era Training Center Giving Away AW139 Pilot Familiarization Course

Includes 60 Hours Of Ground School And 12 Hours Sim Time

Visitors to the Era Training Center booth at Heli-Expo in Las Vegas, NV, will have an opportunity to register to win an AW139 pilot familiarization training course. The course includes sixty (60) hours of ground school and twelve (12) hours of flight simulator training device time; equivalent to the hours required for the AW139 initial pilot course, excluding the in-aircraft flight training. This course focuses on a high-degree of standardization provided between AW139 crew members with emphasis placed on the supportive role of the Second-in-Command (SIC).

Era Training Center (ETC) is a joint venture between Era Helicopters LLC and Frasca International. The center  provides sophisticated, multidisciplinary helicopter flight training through innovative programs, state-of-the-art Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs) and a diverse selection of aircraft for flight training. ETC is an FAA Approved Part 142 Training Center, and is certified by ANAC, the aviation authority of Brazil. ETC's existing Lake Charles, Louisiana, facility features three FAA-approved Level 6 FSTDs: the EC135 P2+, AS350B2, and the AW139. Maintenance training programs are available for most helicopter models operated by Era Helicopters LLC. ETC offers diverse training programs that are provided to a wide array of helicopter personnel, including corporate, oil and gas, EMS, ENG, law enforcement, government and military users. ETC is a USAIG approved "Safety Bucks" training center.

The course being given away is valued at approximately $30,000. Certain restrictions apply with terms and conditions available for review at ETC's booth.
