King Aerospace Commercial Corporation Achieves GACA Certification

Allows Service Expansion Into Booming Saudi Market

King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC) in Ardmore, OK was recently approved for a General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Authorization/Repair Station Certificate.

The GACA, an aviation regulatory entity, manages and operates all international and domestic airports and aircraft in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Representatives with King tell ANN they expect the GACA Repair Station Certification will open the door to growing international aviation business.

"We’re proud to be one of only four GACA approved facilities in the United States," said Don Salisbury, Director of Corporate Aircraft Services. "This is a major opportunity to build our reputation not only nationally, but globally."

KACC specializes in large aircraft interior completion and refurbishment, avionics modifications, and aircraft painting. KACC is presently in the process of acquiring additional ratings in the maintenance and completions arena.

King Aerospace Commercial Corporation has onsite a full service cabinet shop, wood finish shop, upholstery shop, avionics shop, and paint shop which offers custom corporate paint services.

The KACC facility is expanding rapidly. The Ardmore facility is capable of housing wide-body aircraft and currently has four hangars with a combined total square footage exceeding 275,000 square feet.
