Life Flight Network Announces Partnership With WhidbeyHealth

Will Add Air Ambulance Service To The Growing Whidbey Island, WA Region

Life Flight Network, a U.S.-based not-for-profit air medical transport service, is partnering with WhidbeyHealth Medical Center to open a new base in Island County, Washington. The base will be operational in late summer 2019. The 24/7 air medical helicopter, pilot and medical crew, will be based on location at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center, serving not only Coupeville and nearby communities, but also the broader Puget Sound Region including the San Juan Islands.

Announce 5-Year Renewal Of PT6A/PW100 Engine Support Agreement

StandardAero has extended its long-running relationship with aerospace and defense leader Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) with the signing of a five-year agreement covering maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support for the Pratt & Whitney PT6A and PW100 turboprop engines. StandardAero will support SNC from its Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) in Summerside, PE, Canada, and its other global locations.
