SpaceX Releases Preliminary Internal Analysis On Falcon 1 Launch Accident

ANN has received an update from the SpaceX team in the wake of Friday's failed attempt to launch their inaugural Falcon 1 vehicle. While there will be a formal US Government led anomaly investigation in partnership with SpaceX, the company has updated ANN with some initial thoughts on the failure of the Falcon 1's first launch attempt.

Four female Sailors from across the fleet were selected to represent the Navy at the 17th annual Women in Aviation International (WAI) Conference at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tenn., March 23-25.

The great military aircraft and fliers of the last 65 years will be the special guests at The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration when EAA AirVenture Oshkosh again hosts its Warbirds In Review sessions. The 54th annual EAA AirVenture event will be held July 24-30 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.

Consolidated TRACONS (Terminal Radar Approach Control): What is a TRACON? TRACONs are FAA facilities that house air traffic controllers who use radar displays and radios to guide aircraft approaching and departing airports generally within a 30- to 50-mile radius up to 10,000 feet, as well as aircraft that may be flying over that airspace.
