Pilatus Celebrates The 600th PC-12 Business Turboprop

Aircraft Goes To US Customer

Pilatus Aircraft announced Friday a major program milestone, as the company delivered its 600th PC-12 business turboprop. David Domenico, President of Aviation Sales, Inc. (ASI), marked the event by accepting the keys on behalf of a California-based customer.

Pilatus celebrated the delivery of the 500th PC-12 just last year. Thomas Hunziker, President and CEO of Pilatus Business Aircraft, Ltd., offered his thoughts on the PC-12s recent surge in popularity.

"A large number of companies and individuals have come to realize that no other aircraft on the market achieves the PC-12’s combination of performance, utility, comfort, and economy. Because of its high capability and low cost, PC-12 owners enjoy a unique competitive advantage when it comes to business travel."

"More recently, we’ve seen a number of small companies choosing the PC-12 as their first business aircraft," Domenico added. "Having such a large-cabin aircraft with low acquisition and operating costs can significantly boost a company’s productivity, which translates directly to the bottom line."

ASI is no stranger to milestone PC-12s, having delivered the 400th PC-12 in July 2003, and the 500th in January 2005. Located at Centennial Airport (KAPA) in Denver, CO, ASI has been selling and servicing aircraft since 1971. An authorized Pilatus Dealer and Service Center since 1994, ASI was the first distributor for the PC-12 in the United States and has consistently been one of the top selling PC-12 Centers since the program’s inception.

Established in 1939, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is the world's leading manufacturer of single-engine turboprop aircraft. Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is a privately held company employing over 1,300 people. Pilatus provides aircraft and aviation services worldwide for the general aviation, commercial, training, utility, and special mission markets.
