PS Engineering Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Join The Fan Club And Maybe Win An AT-6 Flight

Since 1985, the folks at PS Engineering say they have heard “I love your stuff,” or “I have owned one of your intercoms for years, and it works great.” at every air and tradeshow. In recognition of their large and loyal fan base, PS Engineering will celebrate with a “Fan Club” which is open to owners of PS Engineering avionics, past, present, and future.

During EAA AirVenture 2010, PS Engineering will be putting one lucky fan behind a PS Engineering intercom, in the back seat of one of the AeroShell Aerobatic Team’s AT-6 “Texan air show performance aircraft, for a guest flight on Saturday July 31st 2010. Conversation behind a 550 horsepower radial is a challenge well met by PS Engineering’s intercom.

“In all of our years in business, we have had the best marketing from pilot-to-pilot word-of-mouth, beginning here in Oshkosh” said Gary Picou, Vice President “Over 25 years and 101,000 intercoms, audio panels, and IFE units later, we felt the need to recognize the vital contributions that our “fans” have made to PS Engineering. They are responsible not only for sales, but as a source of ideas and features that wind up incorporated in our innovations. We listen to the customers not only when they tell us how great we are, but also when the make suggestions, and, yes, sometimes when we don’t get something just right.”

“PS Engineering is a name that really means Pilots are Special. We also have real pilots that answer the phones and answer emails. And all of the employees of PS Engineering have a real passion for aviation. We are connected every day to the pilots that made PS special, the very real, very important pilots and customers, as well as our dedicated dealer network of professional avionics facilities.”

During AirVenture, aircraft owners who have a PS Engineering intercom, audio panel, or In-Flight Entertainment systems in their airplane are invited to become a PS Engineering fan by taking a photograph of their plane/PS installation to PS Engineering booth located at the inside front of Building D, where they will be entered in a drawing to win a flight with arguably the worlds best AT-6 aerobatic pilots who make flying AT-6 simply artful.

The drawing will be at 1630 CDT Friday July 30. Entrants must be on the grounds of AirVenture 2010 and ready to take flight at 0900 on Saturday.

PS Engineering will also be collecting video tributes from fans in their booth, for an online video montage of PS Engineering loyal customer base. Continued Picou “We bring four people to the show, but there are more PS people back in Tennessee that don’t get the benefit of our AirVenture experience. This is a way to bring these fans home to the plant.”

Founded in 1985, PS Engineering has become a leading manufacturer of general aviation intercoms and audio control systems. The company’s sole corporate focus is excellence in the design and manufacture of audio control systems for General Aviation Aircraft. PS Engineering is credited for many innovations in the field, including IntelliVox, Softmute, Karaoke Mode, Split mode, Swap Mode, and the IRS (Internal Recording System). With a network of over 600 authorized dealer/installers worldwide, the company is a leader in retrofit avionics as well as a supplier to other major avionics manufacturers for their audio panel requirements.
