New AeroLEDS Lighting System Requires No Power Supply

Experimental LEDs Serve As Nav/Strobe/Position Lights

Necessity may be the Mother of Invention... and aviation can use all of that it can get. Hence, a unique idea from AeroLEDs -- the Pulsar ExP, an all LED Nav/Strobe/Position that does NOT require an external power supply.

The Pulsar ExP Nav/Strobe/Position light system for experimental use was designed from a "clean sheet" program utilizing advanced mechanical/electrical computer modeling and optical ray-tracing software to accurately predict and optimize the performance of the final product -- and includes the following features:

  • Lifetime Buy or 50k hours of use
  • Zero Maintenance
  • Reduced Power Consumption (up to 80%)
  • Extended Light Performance (no “accelerated light degradation” common to legacy products);
  • Elimination of RF Noise
  • Reduced System Weight (10oz per pair )
  • Reduced Aero-dynamic Drag
  • Direct Retro-Fit to traditional legacy lighting
  • Overheat Protection
  • Requires No External Power supply

The AeroLEDs crew builds landing and navigational lighting products that "are designed for some of the most extreme operating conditions on the planet." The company was developed in order to 'introduce revolutionary landing and navigational lighting products that produce far better results than traditional lighting systems.'

The Pulsar ExP retails for $895.95
