Remos GX Chosen For 2010 AOPA Sweepstakes Prize

Airplane Will Be Presented In Long Beach At Next Year's Summit

AOPA officials took the wraps off their 2010 Sweepstakes Prize today revealing a new Remos GX. The two-seat, high wing, carbon fiber aircraft will be awarded to a Sweepstakes winner during the 2010 AOPA Summit in Long Beach, California.

In discussing the reasons behind selecting a Remos GX as a prize, AOPA President Craig Fuller said: "For the 2010 sweepstakes, we wanted to focus on the fun and recreational aspects of GA flying, and the Remos GX is truly fun to fly. At the same time it offers exceptional safety equipment, incredible fuel efficiency, a high useful load, a full avionics package, and plenty of other impressive features. It's a plane any pilot would love to fly."

Remos CEO Corvin Huber expressed pleasure with AOPA's Sweepstakes decision: "To be honored as the new centerpiece for a sweepstakes that has recently offered a distinguished list of aircraft like the Cherokee Six, Cessna Cardinal, Archer and Cirrus, shows that the Remos has reached a level of popularity that clearly places it as the leader in its class. Remos has been placing more GXs on the flightline than all other two-place airplanes in the past year and is taking a point position in the future of General Aviation. AOPA has recognized the value of Remos for flight training, recreational flying and even cross country transportation. We are pleased to be a part of their effort to reach out to the general public with an invitation to take up flying."
