Randy Rowles Is First Helicopter Master Instructor

Night Flight Concepts Executive Earns The Initial Designation

Randy Rowles, Vice President Business Development and NVG Training Programs was the first individual to receive the new Master CFI-Helicopter (MCFI-H) accreditation introduced by Master Instructors LLC of Longmont, Colorado. The achievement was noted in a news release Monday from Night Flight Concepts.

Randy Rowles

"Night Flight Concepts is dedicated to meeting or exceeding industry standards and government regulations for rotary wing instruction and helicopter operations safety," said president, Adam Aldous.  Aldous continues, "We support and celebrate this MCFI-H accreditation achievement by Randy Rowles. Achievements like this help distinguish our team's capabilities and demonstrate our commitment to ongoing professional development and offering unparalleled training expertise to our clients and partners."

The new Master Helicopter designation program was developed by The Master Instructors LLC with input from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the International Helicopter Safety Team, and the Helicopter Association International (HAI). Designed to address the unique issues and requirements of rotary wing pilots, the MCFI-H program establishes higher professional standards to which helicopter instructors can aspire, and for which helicopter instructors who maintain those high standards can be recognized. Accordingly, to qualify, a minimum of 50% of the activities submitted by applicants must be helicopter related.

The new MCFI-H acknowledges an individual's continuing professional growth and involvement in a broad spectrum of aviation endeavors while recognizing an ongoing commitment to excellence, professional growth, and service to the aviation community. In addition to his dual roles of Vice President Business Development and NVG Training Programs at Night Flight Concepts, Mr. Rowles also serves as a Designated Pilot Examiner for helicopter licenses and ratings including; private, commercial, ATP, NVG, CFI/II. Additionally Randy is a FAASTeam representative, chairs the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Flight Training Committee and is Board Member of the National EMS Pilots Association (NEMSPA).
