Jeff Lochridge Tapped To Lead Superior Air Parts Supply Chain

Named Group Vice President Responsible For Parts And Component Procurement

Timothy T. Archer, Group CEO, Superior Aviation Beijing, CO. Ltd., announced Monday that Jeff Lochridge has been promoted to Group Vice President of Supply Chain Management responsible for parts and component procurement for all subsidiary companies of Superior Aviation Beijing.

“Jeff has been overseeing the procurement for Superior Air Parts and has done an outstanding job in ramping up our vendors. He knows that to stay competitive in today’s aviation marketplace you have to be extremely smart and efficient in all phases of your business,” Archer said. “As our new Group VP of Supply Chain Management, Jeff will report directly to me. In his expanded role, Jeff will be responsible for not only negotiating, purchasing and delivering parts and components for our piston engine production facilities in the U.S. and China, but also raw materials and components for our other Group companies including our helicopter and UAV manufacturing entities,."

“In very competitive global markets like ours, the strategic supply chain is a major contributor to a company’s overall profitability,” Lochridge said. “Key to that success is establishing and maintaining the best sources and solutions for our various manufacturing needs.”

“I’m truly excited about the opportunity and challenges of overseeing the production activities of all the companies associated with our Group,” he added. “My personal mission statement is simply to help our Group companies to work together to create competitive and successful businesses.”
Prior to accepting his new position, Lochridge had been the Director of Procurement for Superior Air Parts, Inc., since 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from East Texas State University. (Photo provided by Superior Air Parts)
