Expert Help Wanted: Could YOU Be The Next Face Of 'Airborne?'

Aviation's Longest Running Video News Program Is Seeking New Talent For Airborne Expansion

ANN is on the hunt for next new face of our Airborne news program series... in order to allow our current host the chance to do some important international volunteer work. Further; we also need to add new and talented persons to the roster so that we may accomplish the expanding mission of Airborne and a number of new Airborne additions coming up in the next few months.

We have a need for one new staffer ASAP and another around the first of the year.

These are autonomous 'one man/woman band' positions where you must be as comfortable behind the camera as in front of it. You will be responsible for presenting tech related news stories on camera while often handling all audio, video and lighting, as well as editing the final product.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced videographer and editor, with prior on-air experience, and the ability to work without a lot of supervision. Being knowledgeable of the Aviation/Aerospace Industry is not required (but will need to be learned), but is a major plus.

You must be highly proficient in Final Cut Pro (or Adobe) as well as Quicktime and Compressor. Must have some familiarity with compression settings and uploading videos to the web. Must be able to work quickly and under deadline. Must be comfortable operating and reading from a teleprompter. Must have knowledge of basic lighting set ups.

Familiarity with Canon cameras is a plus. Relocation may not be necessary but must be able to travel several times per year for tradeshows, conventions, significant breaking news locations, and other special events.

These events will occasionally require walking and strenuous activity, so you must be comfortable lifting and carrying your own equipment. You will be responsible for shooting footage of airshows, aircraft, aviation/aerospace equipment, as well as interviews for our international video programming roster. This gig can be a LOT of work, as well as a lot of fun... but it is also a fascinating position, with a number of other personnel in this department, enjoying 5-10 years with this company.

Please send resume, clips of your on-air work, and/or demo reel...
