The sixth significant release of ForeFlight Mobile this year is now available for download from App Store. ForeFlight Mobile 5.3 will allow users to view plate and taxi diagram map overlays on any of ForeFlight’s own 13,000+ geo-referenced diagrams and 700+ geo-referenced airport diagrams on the moving map.

MAVEN Spacecraft Arrived Last Friday At Kennedy Space Center
NASA's next spacecraft going to Mars arrived Friday, Aug. 2, at the agency's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and is now perched in a cleanroom to begin final preparations for its November launch. Alleges He Was 'Forced to Crawl' As Airline Staff Refused To Assist Him
Hawaiian resident D. Baraka Kanaan has filed suit against Delta Airlines after he says he was "forced to crawl" while both boarding and disembarking on a round trip flight from his island home to Nantucket in 2012. Kanaan alleges the airline violated his rights under the American with Disabilities Act and the Air Carrier Access Act. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Hawaii.

In its continuing investigation of the July 22 accident in which Southwest Airlines flight 345, a B-737-700, landed hard at New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA), the National Transportation Safety Board has developed and released factual information concerning the crew of the airplane and weather at LaGuardia at the time of the accident.
