Air Lituanica Selects Embraer E-Jets

New European Carrier Acquires Two For Regional Routes

A new commercial airline in Europe, Air Lituanica of Vilnius, Lithuania, has acquired two Embraer E-Jets. The carrier will launch scheduled service on June 30th with one EMBRAER 170 leased from a third party. In July, Air Lituanica will add another E-Jet, an EMBRAER 175, leased from ECC Leasing Company, Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Embraer.

Bitten by another bug, she set off with a new set of new goals. After that one Stearman flight, she knew she had to learn aerobatics and that she was destined to fly airshows. In 1990 the Flying Circus Airshow, in Bealeton VA, placed an advertisement for a wing walking position in the Washington Post Classifieds. She answered that ad thinking that wing walking would be an exciting way to enter the airshow business, not to mention a lot of fun. Her first time airborne on the wing also happened to be her first show....
