In a transaction announced Tuesday, US Airways will obtain 42 pairs of Delta’s slots at DCA and acquire the rights to expand to Tokyo, Japan and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Simultaneously, US Airways will transfer 125 pairs of its slots to Delta at New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA).

Study Due Next Year Looking At Supersonic Aircraft In The System

Wyle is taking a significant role in a NASA study due out early next year that will provide valuable insights into how the U.S. National Airspace System will be transformed by new types of aircraft and new air traffic control operational concepts by the end of the next decade.

An ANN reader sent this term after reading Wednesday about Adverse Yaw. Proverse Yaw is yaw in the direction of the turn and occurs when an aircraft uses spoilers for roll control. The spoiler on the down side in the turn causes drag which assists the turn."

UAV Forum

We've been hearing a lot about how UAV's might fit into our national airspace. Currently, FAA regulations prohibit most UAV flight in U.S. Airspace, but there is a lot of research going on about how these unmanned vehicles can be used. The UAV Forum is dedicated to exchange information and ideas about the subject.
