Adlai Hardin has given Delta Air Lines another deadline extension

Blames Pilot's Failure To Address Pitch Control
Malfunction
The NTSB says a January 2005 crash of a Cessna 337 in Lakeland,
FL was likely the result of a pitch control malfunction. The pilot
and a passenger were killed in the crash.
The Pentagon approved USAF plans to purchase a fleet of up to
141 combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopters. The winner
of the contract -- reportedly valued at some $10 billion -- is to
be announced following next week's elections.
