Out-spoken purveyor of American sensibilities, Barbara Streisand, who sued a California Conservationist last year over pictures of most of the California coastline that happened to include her home is digging her heels in over the legal fees she was ordered to pay after she LOST the suit. Streisand sued Adelman for $50 million May 20th, after his website, which photographically traces the California coast, published an aerial photograph of her estate, among many thousands of others. The photographs were among about 12,700, many of which highlight overdevelopment along the water's edge.

Recent statements about the conduct of lightplane operations at the annual Lakeland Sun 'n Fun Fly-In are creating quite a buzz from flyers who are protesting the revelation that Sun 'n Fun will be conducting vehicle surveillance in the "Paradise City" lightplane operations area. Sun 'n Fun staffers will be apparently be checking vehicle paperwork and licensing for two seaters (operating either as ultralight trainers or licensed experimentals) operating in the lightplane area and making "basic visual" inspections of single seaters operating under Part 103 to see if they are operating legally. Business Will Become Part Of Phantom Works Division

Boeing said on Thursday that it is scaling back its investment in its air traffic management business and named Kevin Brown as the new head, beginning April 1. Brown succeeds John Hayhurst, who is retiring. Boeing also said the business will become part of Phantom Works, Boeing's research and development unit. Brown, whose new title will be vice president, air traffic management, will report to Robert Krieger, president of Phantom Works. Brown said that ATM will continue to engage industry and government aviation officials in the United States, Europe and Asia on air traffic modernization issues, and work with them to build support for transforming air traffic management globally.

Enstrom Helicopter says that their contract with the Indonesian Police has fulfilled all the requirements of their EXIM loan agreement and is "in full effect." “With the operability of the EXIM loan, we now have funding and are in full production mode to support the Indonesian National Police contract,” said Enstrom President Jerry Mullins. “Two aircraft are already flying in Indonesia and two are en route.” The remaining aircraft in the 18-helicopter order will be delivered in the upcoming months.
