Lancair Responds Rapidly To Possible Safety Issue

We have to give them credit... discovering a problem on one day and notifying your customers the next, is a FAST and wholly commendable response... but about what we'd expect from one of GA's next generation "Big Three" manufacturers. Lancair is in the process of personally notifying all owners of Lancair Columbia 300 and 350 aircraft that there may be an issue with the attachment of the aircraft’s fuel pressure transducer that could affect their aircraft’s airworthiness.

Streisand Trying To Stiff High-Flying Victor in Court Fight

Life is far stranger than fiction... and sometimes far more amusing. Out-spoken purveyor of American sensibilities, Barbara Streisand, who sued a California Conservationist last year over pictures of most of the California coastline that happened to include her home is digging her heels in over the legal fees she was ordered to pay after she LOST the suit. LightPlane Revolt Under Way?

Recent statements about the conduct of lightplane operations at the annual Lakeland Sun 'n Fun Fly-In are creating quite a buzz from flyers who are protesting the revelation that Sun 'n Fun will be conducting vehicle surveillance in the "Paradise City" lightplane operations area.
