Check Out Our DAILY Programming!
We'll be the first to
admit... this is an announcement we had wished we hadn't had to
work SO hard for. ANN's first Aero-TV newscast from the floor of
NBAA 2007 is now available on the Aero-TV website.
On today's Aero-TV briefing -- available at www.aero-tv.net
-- host Ivee Sauls (center) will fill you in on news regarding
pre-show set-up activities at NBAA... the organization's efforts to
build a new aviation-themed playground... and a sneak peek at new
aircraft to be unveiled at the three-day event in Atlanta, GA.
If you're wondering why we debuted the first newscast so
late in the day... well, it's a long story. Suffice to say, the
airlines played a big part in that delay -- as the ANN and Aero-TV
staff dealt with everything from lost baggage (including a HUGE
camera gear bag with aLOT of our much-needed gear), to delayed
flights, to missed connections on their way to Atlanta. Two of
our people didn't show up on the day that the airlines promised...
We SO need to travel in Non-Airline ways, and the backdrop of all
the activity that we see at NBAA2007 only urges further into making
a corporate aircraft decision. Heavy sigh... we never thought we'd
envy those who drove here instead (like Jim did... did he know
something the rest of us didn't?)
This is one of the first in our initial series of "Beta" Daily
NewsCasts... incorporating lessons we learned during our initial
trials at AirVenture 2007, but perhaps lacking some of the features
and programming we plan to ultimately incorporate into our daily
routine. We're going to do this RIGHT... which means that
"right-now" has nothing to do with it. You deserve our best efforts
and a methodical, dependable upgrade path to our ultimate goals...
and that's what we intend to give you. Still... we do sincerely
believe you will be impressed with what our Aero-TV gang has put
together.
Also throughout NBAA, Aero-TV will feature a number
of Aero-TV Special Presentations. Today's feature gives
you an in-depth look at the recent announcement by Google and the X
Prize Foundation.
Due to our continuing interest in all things that push the
frontiers of aviation and aerospace, ANN had the coveted
opportunity to be a part of some of the most exciting events in
recent aerospace history, giving us -- and our Aero-TV viewers --
not only for the event itself, but for many of the carefully
orchestrated rehearsals, and some of the intensive planning
sessions that tied in some of the media planning for the public
announcement.
Enjoy! And feel free to tell us what YOU want to see on
Aero-TV!
