Leonard Weber II Succeeds Brad Thomann
Alteon Training has named Leonard
Weber II to the position of chief operating officer. Weber succeeds
Brad Thomann, who assumed a similar position at Jeppesen.
In his new role, Weber will be responsible for Alteon business
and financial performance throughout its global network of 22
training centers. Weber has responsibility for the company’s
flight, maintenance and cabin crew training programs as well as the
development and global deployment of our world class pilot and
maintenance instructors and courseware.
"I am very pleased that Len is joining Alteon," said Sherry
Carbary, Alteon president. "His extensive background in operations
and finance at Boeing, experience in the aviation business and
unwavering commitment to business performance and customer
satisfaction makes him an ideal addition to the Alteon family. I
know Len will assist the company in its active pursuit of global
solutions and enhance our leadership position in the
marketplace."
A 25-year Boeing veteran, Weber was most recently director of
Boeing Support Systems in Ft. Walton and Jacksonville, FL. Prior to
that, Len held senior management positions in finance, program
management and manufacturing in Boeing’s Philadelphia, St.
Louis and Seattle operations.
Weber, a private pilot, holds a doctorate in management from
Webster University Saint Louis Missouri, a master’s degree in
business administration from Lindenwood University in Saint Louis
and a bachelor of science in aviation management from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University Daytona Beach Florida.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Boeing, Alteon Training is an
industry leader in providing airline-focused aviation training
solutions. The company provides its partners an expanding and
integrated services portfolio that includes flight and maintenance
training.
