Aviation Maintenance Management Class Offered At Annual
Symposium
The Professional Aviation
Maintenance Association announced that it will once again offer
"Aviation Maintenance Management," one of its popular Professional
Development Workshops, which are offered each year at PAMA's Annual
Maintenance Symposium.
"Aviation Maintenance Management" is designed for current and
future supervisors, managers, and directors of maintenance. In
addition, individuals responsible for the management of spares,
logistics, quality control, and warranties will benefit from the
material covered in this course.
"Each section of the course is designed with the intention of
helping the operator save money," Brian Finnegan, PAMA President.
"At the conclusion of the course, each participant will understand
and be able to apply the techniques of managing people and jobs,
identify areas for reduction of product and service costs, control
inventory costs, and better handle the ever-changing regulatory
environment."
The day and a half training session will be led by Brandon
Battles, Vice President with the aviation-consulting firm of
Conklin & de Decker. It will be held at Harrah's Las Vegas on
Sunday, March 6, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Monday, March 7, 2005,
8:00 to 11:00 a.m. PAMA will be offering other Professional
Development Workshops, including: Maintenance Resource Management,
Savvy Piston Aircraft Maintenance, Vital Communications Skills for
Today's Maintenance Leaders, Aviation Accident Investigation for
Mechanics, and AED/CPR Training.
