National Flight Services Selects Trend Group As TPE331 Trend Monitoring Provider

The Trend Group has signed a teaming agreement with National Flight Services, Inc. of Toledo, OH. Under the agreement, National Flight will provide one year of The Trend Group’s trend monitoring and analysis service with each overhaul and hot section inspection they perform.

National Flight has long been the world’s largest independent TPE331 engine overhaul and repair facility. Operators have come to expect the quality and reliability from National Flight with their TPE331 overhaul, hot section inspection, and engine upgrade services. The addition of The Trend Group’s trend monitoring and analysis service will provide National Flight customers with a valuable program delivering immediate and long term benefits.

The Trend Group monitors and analyzes data that is routinely collected during the cruise phase of flight. The operator is alerted by The Trend Group of subtle changes in the engine’s performance thus enabling the operator to correct minor problems before they develop into major problems. This proactive approach can lower operating cost, enhance safety, and improve maintenance planning.

“National Flight is giving their customers an excellent opportunity to maximize the life of their engines,” stated Dale Taunton, Vice President of Business Development at The Trend Group. “We’re proud to be a part of the already impressive National Flight service.”
