FURTHER NOTICE. PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 99.7, SPECIAL SECURITY
INSTRUCTIONS AND 91.139, EMERGENCY AIR TRAFFIC RULES, THIS NOTICE
AMENDS THE REQUIREMENTS FOR FLIGHT IN THE DC ADIZ, AS DESCRIBED IN
FDC NOTAM 5/9477, THESE PROCEDURES ALLOW DEPARTING AIRCRAFT TO EXIT
THE DC ADIZ VIA THE SHORTEST ROUTE WITHOUT COMPLYING WITH THE
NORMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FLIGHT WITHIN THE DC ADIZ. A. THIS APPLIES
ONLY TO THE FOLLOWING AIRPORTS: 1. AIRLIE /2VA9/ VA (DCA

THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO COMMUNICATE WITH POTOMAC TRACON UNLESS
REQUESTED BY ATC. 6. THESE PROCEDURES APPLY ONLY TO AIRCRAFT
EXITING THE DC ADIZ AFTER DEPARTURE. 7. PILOTS ARRIVING AT ONE OF
THE ABOVE AIRPORTS, OR TRANSITING THE ADIZ, SHALL COMPLY WITH
EXISTING DC ADIZ PROCEDURES IN FDC NOTAM 5/9477 (I.E., FILE A
FLIGHT PLAN, ESTABLISH TWO-WAY COMMUNICATIONS WITH ATC, AND SQUAWK
