PACE, Airbus Sign 4-Year License And Services Agreement

European Aircraft Manufacturer Confirms Berlin Company As Preferred KBE Software Supplier

The software engineering company PACE announced late last week that it has concluded a four-year license and services agreement with Airbus. Under this agreement, PACE remains a preferred software supplier for Airbus companies worldwide. The agreement is the third of its kind in the last decade.

Key terms of the agreement relate to the license pool, the development of future applications and the provision of comprehensive services including expertise, deployment support, training and software maintenance. At present, PACE software is deployed in several major Airbus domains, notably aircraft cabin configuration, service documentation and engineering.

This agreement is a continuation of a long and successful collaboration between Airbus and PACE. It confirms the strategic importance of state-of-the-art software tools for aerospace activities and that KBE technology enables a leading aircraft manufacturer to fully capitalize on its most important asset, its engineering and design expertise.

Alexander Schneegans, PACE Managing Director, stresses that "as a global industry leader, Airbus is not only one of our key customers but has also given decisive impulses for innovating our product and services portfolio over the years. We are very pleased about the renewal of the agreement and look forward to mutual benefits."
