Aspen Avionics expands in both territory and product capabilities with the announced acquisition of Accord Technology, LLC from Accord, India and AvValues LLC of Phoenix, Arizona. The acquisition has resulted in an expansion of the company’s geographic footprint to include a new administrative and production facility in Phoenix, Arizona. John Uczekaj will continue to lead the company as president and chief executive officer.

L-3 Aviation Products (L-3 AP) is now offering an underwater locator beacon that is in compliance with the new 90-day operational standard published in TSO-C121b for all L-3 recorder products. This offer comes after the FAA announced that it will no longer be granting TSO-C121 or C121a approvals to beacons manufactured after December 1, 2015.
