The aircraft, one BAe 146-300 and one BAe 146-200 will double its fleet size to four aircraft and will add additional capacity to satisfy increasing demand.

Officials Say Militants Recovered Part Of The Wreckage

A UAV reportedly went down Saturday in North Waziristan near the Afghan border, according to U.S. military officials. The unmanned reconnaissance aircraft went down about 20 miles east of Miranshah, a town that is the frequent target of UAV attacks against Taliban and Al-Qaeda targets.

The new facility is an annex to Lockheed Martin's existing 197,000 square foot building that has been producing structural components for more than 10 different types of aircraft since 1997.

NTSB Makes Safety Recommendations For ECi Cylinder Parts

Cylinder  Assemblies Failed Due To Fatigue Cracking

In a letter to acting FAA Administrator Michael Huerta, the NTSB has recommended that the agency require repetitive inspection of Engine Components, Inc. cylinder assemblies produced between May 2003 and October 2009 (serial numbers 7709 through 52884) installed on Teledyne Continental Motors model 520 and 550 engines and removal of these cylinder assemblies once they reach the engine manufacturer’s recommended normal time (hours) in service between overhauls.
