Honda Aircraft Company To Build Aircraft Maintenance Facility In Greensboro, NC

Move Represents A $20 Million Investment In The State

Greensboro, North Carolina has been selected for a new HondaJet Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility. Honda Aircraft Company and the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance announced the project at the NBAA convention in Las Vegas Monday. The company will invest an additional $20 million to build the new MRO facility, bringing its total capital investment for construction of its North Carolina facilities to more than $120 million.

Cessna Citation CJ2+ Gains World Speed Record

Fastest Time On Flight From Reykjavik To London

The National Aeronautic Association on Tuesday presented a world speed record to Eric Norber for a flight from Reykjavik, Iceland, to London in July in a Cessna Citation CJ2+. The speed record — 2:48:14 — was over a recognized course for a jet aircraft between 3,000 and 6,000 kilograms (FAI code C, C-1, e, III).
