HPower Named Exclusive US Importer For Neuform Props

Composite Props Offered In Choice Of Colors

Flight Design USA sister company HPower, Ltd -- known for its import, sale, and service of HKS four-stroke light aircraft engines -- announced this week the company has become the exclusive United States importer of Germany's Neuform composite propeller line.

"These high quality props offer high performance, low fuel consumption, and are very quiet," said HPower Ltd., president, Tom Peghiny. "They also work well with our HKS engines and are the preferred propellers on the Flight Design CT Light-Sport Aircraft."

Neuform composite props combine optimized aerodynamic design with high-grade materials, all assembled with excellent German craftsmanship.

Neuform propeller blades are made of a custom foam core, surrounded by a glass fiber shell, which is covered by a colored gel coat in either red, black, or white. Tractor (front-mounted) props feature a black backside, to minimize color reflection while looking through the spinning propeller.

"There is no extra paint on the surface, so no paint can be lost affecting the dynamics of the propeller," explained Peghiny.

A selection of propeller models is available in tractor or pusher configuration for the Rotax 582, 912, and 912S engines,  as well as for the HKS 700E powerplant.
