Rockwell Collins Signs Service Agreement With Mexicana

Rockwell Collins has signed a three-year contract to provide service and support to Mexicana Airlines. Work will be performed at Rockwell Collins service centers in Dallas and Atlanta.

"We believe this agreement provides great value for Mexicana because it will reduce operating costs and turnaround times," said Scott Gunnufson, vice president of business operations for Rockwell Collins Services.

"Rockwell Collins has been selected between other suppliers because, apart from the reliability of their repairs, they are offering attractive general terms. The future cooperation with Rockwell Collins will impact directly to our cost reduction and that was the goal we wanted to achieve," shares Rebolledo Vivas Enrique, Components Repair Manager for Mexicana Airlines.

Mexicana Airlines began operations more than 84 years ago. It is the Mexican airline with the greatest international coverage and the leader in transportation between Mexico and the United States.

Rockwell Collins' global network of more than 80 service locations provides repair and overhaul of avionics equipment for commercial, business, corporate and military operations. Additional logistics capabilities include on-board services, service parts, simulation & training solutions, technical information services and logistics services.
