Grossman, Staub, Pigman
NATA has elected three
new members to its board of directors, bringing some fresh
viewpoints to the organization's governing body. The appointments
were made last month during NATA's annual convention in
Las Vegas, NV.
The new board members are:
Michael H. Grossmann, President, Castle Aviation Inc., North
Canton, OH
Since 1978, Grossmann has logged over 13,000 hours, has been a
charter pilot, corporate pilot, and commuter airline pilot, and is
now a missionary pilot flying a Boeing 747SP. He holds an Airline
Transport Pilot license and is also the FAA-designated Check Airman
for Castle Aviation. He has worked tirelessly growing Castle and
promoting general aviation.
He has served on NATA’s Air Charter Committee since 1997,
served as Chairman of the Air Cargo Subcommittee for NATA during
2003 and 2004, and helped NATA with the Aviation Rule Making
Committee (ARC) and the Aviation Security for Air Cargo (ASAC).
Grossmann is also a board member with the East Central Ohio
Pilots Association (ECOPA). He is listed in Who's Who in Air
Charter, and is a member of the Business Incentive Group (BIG).
Theo Staub, President & COO, Jet Aviation Holdings, Inc.,
Teterboro, NJ
Staub was appointed Vice President/General Manager of Jet
Aviation Business Jets AG in Zurich in September 1992. He holds
degrees in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration
Degree. Prior to joining Jet Aviation, he was a member of the
management team of Vibro-Meter's Aviation Division where he gained
experience in managing programs and operational activities.
In 1999, Staub was promoted to Vice President of Strategic
Planning and Business Development at Jet Aviation's European
Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. In that role, he helped to
create new business opportunities for Jet Aviation and to implement
strategic planning on a group-wide level. Staub is currently
President & COO for Jet Aviation North America and is based out
of the U.S. headquarters in Teterboro, New Jersey.
Reed W. Pigman, Jr., President, Texas Jet, Inc., Fort Worth,
TX
Since 1978, Pigman has been President and Owner of Texas Jet,
Inc. (an Executive Aviation Terminal on Fort Worth Meacham
International Airport). Texas Jet was voted one of the best
operations of its kind in the U.S. for each of the last six years.
Pigman holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a LearJet
Type Rating. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He was named
by Fort Worth Magazine as one of the "Top 100 Movers and Shakers"
in Fort Worth's 150-year history.
