Flight Design Teams Up With Pilot Journey

LSA Flight School Program Reaches Out To Potential Student Pilots

Flight Design USA has partnered with Pilot Journey, a website catering to those seeking a place to obtain flight training, in an effort to supply flight schools with quality leads for student pilots.

"Pilot Journey is a great resource for student pilots seeking a place to take flight instruction," reported John Gilmore, National Sales Manager for Flight Design USA. "When prospective students search, they use the Internet. Pilot Journey generates more than 30,000 Unique Visitors each month to use a variety of resources to help them select a great school."

"Flight Design has a large number of aircraft flying in the United States," said Gary Bradshaw, founder and publisher of Pilot Journey. "Many of those aircraft are at a Flight Design Pilot Center and we look forward to putting new students in those aircraft and helping those flight school grow. With our new real-time lead program, we will be able to send prospective pilot leads to Flight Design Pilot Centers within minutes of a visitor inquiry at Pilot Journey."

"Pilot Journey's Discovery Flight Certificate comes with several informative documents and a presentation DVD (including videos of user experiences), plus a logbook," commented Tom Peghiny, president of Flight Design USA. "But most importantly, inquiring with Pilot Journey gains a quick referral to one or more of the 400+ flight schools that work with Pilot Journey."

Pilot Journey website visitors acting now will also get two books on CDs, "The Airplane Flying Handbook" and "The Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge." These two books retail in stores for over $39 but come free with the purchase of a Discovery Flight Certificate. Participating flight schools provide a 40-minute familiarization flight on presentation of the Discovery Flight Certificate.

"With most people making their initial investigations online, Pilot Journey is a natural to connect our Flight Design Pilot Centers with students who want to learn to fly," added Peghiny. "Pilot Journey has a handsome, easily-navigated website with lots of helpful information. And our Pilot Centers appreciate getting referrals from Pilot Journey. Everyone wins!"
