Cirrus Expands International Footprint

Opens New Sales Center in Russia

Cirrus Design Corporation has appointed a new sales center in Russia. Officially named Cirrus Russia, the new sales center is based in Moscow and is charged with the primary responsibility of bolstering Cirrus' sales activity in Russia and The Ukraine. Directing that activity will be aviation veteran Alexey Khimichev.

"We look forward to working with Alexey and his Cirrus trained team, as we expand Cirrus' presence in the region" stated John M. Bingham executive vice president of sales and marketing for Cirrus. "Establishing a sales center in Russia is another important step in our rapidly expanding global strategy."

In order to fully support aircraft sales throughout the region, Cirrus Russia will become an authorized service center. "Offering qualified factory-trained service in the region to support the aircraft sold is one reason that Cirrus continues have broad international appeal", said Customer Relations Vice President Ian Bentley.

Cirrus promises more announcements on sales center appointments as the company pursues its goal of becoming the world's largest manufacturer of personal aviation aircraft. Cirrus has already established sales centers in Europe (The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Spain), Australia (also serving New Zealand), South America, South Africa, The Caribbean and Mexico.
