Virgin Charter Joins Radius As Exclusive Air Charter Provider

Gives Users Of Global Travel Service New Options For Air Travel

Online booking tool Virgin Charter announced Thursday it has partnered with Radius, making Virgin Charter the global travel company's exclusive charter air solution.

One of the world's largest travel management companies, Radius works with 90 travel agencies specializing in both business and leisure bookings. Radius will now use the Virgin Charter Marketplace to easily find and book charter flights on any aircraft type for their clients.

Radius member agents will receive multiple quotes for each trip from hundreds of operators competing to earn their business. Virgin Charter notes it only selects operators that are audited by independent, internationally recognized third parties.

In addition, Virgin Charter, in conjunction with JD Power and Associates, created the industry's first Quality Rating Program that provides agents with information about the quality of the operator so they can make more informed decisions together with their clients. Radius agents will also have a dedicated toll-free number for 24/7 customer service by Virgin-trained specialists.

"Radius has built one of the most respected global travel management companies and we are excited to partner with them as their exclusive private charter partner, helping the industry's best find and book charter flights," said Scott Duffy, founder and CEO, Virgin Charter. "This partnership is not only a win for Radius' vast network of travelers, but also Radius' travel agencies and the operators in our Marketplace."

"This partnership is another step we are taking to align the company with the travel community. We understand the importance of building our travel network as this gives us the ability to immediately expand our international sales force," added Duffy.

"This announcement is recognition of the strategic importance of selecting the best charter air solution for our travel product portfolio," said Patricia Locke, Radius Senior Vice President for Sales and Supplier Relations. "Our partnership will allow us to offer a much broader flight alternative service to our agencies around the world that will benefit their clients with efficiency and cost-savings.

"Virgin Charter is a very important company in the air charter arena, bringing both innovation and quality to the table, so we are looking forward to working with them to achieve the expected synergies that will enhance the value that Radius provides to our customers."
