American Legend Aircraft Announces Planned Tour of its Legend Cub Light-Sport Aircraft

American Legend Aircraft Company announced that the company plans to take its Legend Cub aircraft on a demonstration tour throughout the central and northeastern United States. The Legend Cub will begin its tour with a stop in St. Louis, MO, and make its final stop in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, before heading back to Texas to prepare for the first of many future annual treks to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Legend Cub is a light-sport category aircraft that will appeal to recreational flyers of all ages in all areas of the world.

The first stop on the Legend Cub tour coincides with the Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) Sport Pilot Tour in St. Louis, MO. The Legend Cub will be on display there at St. Charles Co. Airport, Smart Field (SET), from June 10–11, 2005. As the tour heads eastward, so does the Legend Cub. From June 17–18, Legend will be exhibiting in Franklin, PA, at Venago Regional Airport (FKL).

Then, on June 20, the Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association (LAMA) will hold a meeting at the headquarters of the AOPA in Frederick, MD, where American Legend Aircraft Company will participate in a promotional event for the benefit of the future of light-sport aircraft. Starting on Wednesday, June 22, the Legend Cub will be on display at the 20th Annual Sentimental Journey To Cub Haven Fly-In through the following Saturday. The event takes place at the historic William T. Piper Memorial Airport in Lock Haven, PA.

To cap the tour, American Legend Aircraft Company will return its Legend Cub to Sulphur Springs, TX, prior to traveling to the EAA’s AirVenture Oshkosh from July 25–31, 2005. Legend will exhibit and provide demonstration flights of the Legend Cub during the show at Wittman Regional Airport (OSH) in Oshkosh, WI.
