Have You Checked Out AIRBORNE -- ANN's Newest Aero-TV Program?

Rave Reviews Suggest We Have A Real Hit On Our Hands And This Is Just The Beginning!

Well... after several months of planning, practicing and preparation, the first generation of a new programming effort from Aero-TV has hit cyberspace. Last Friday, ANN released Airborne 11.18.11 -- with the intention to offer this as a weekly news feature through the end of 2011 and then ramp things up in a BIG WAY as 2012 gets underway.

And let me tell you... we have some amazing things in store for Airborne... in a number of ways... not just in raising the bar for the programing itself but the way in which this programming is distributed, supported and the synergies we are in the process of developing with the rest of the aviation world. Believe you me, we have some serious surprises in store for you in months to come.

To repeat our earlier warning -- like all things ANN, you ain't seen nothing yet.

But... in the meantime, we will finish the year as a weekly series of Aero-News programs and quickly evolve from there. Keep in mind that this is the FIRST in an evolving series of news offerings and that we at ANN don't play with the status quo very well -- or for very long. Let me also express my appreciation to the core group of ANN staffers who busted their buns getting Airborne ready for takeoff. Ashley Hale has serious credentials in North Florida media... both as an on-air talent as well as a crackerjack videographer and editor... and her skills have been indispensable to coordinating Airborne.

Chief Videographer, Nathan Cremisino, continues to blow us away with his ability to get a LOT done with impossible deadlines and do so with incredible professionalism. E-Media Producer Paul Plack is a long-time ANN veteran and a guy who has been scripting and producing thousands of audio programs for us for a number of years and his skills are invaluable to making Airborne work. And finally, News-Editor Tom Patton has been beating up the headlines to make sure that the content and final scripts for Airborne are just as slick and professional as the rest of the effort. These folks are amazing... and their efforts are so very appreciated.

OK... until the next episode of Airborne hits the wild, wild web in the next few days, here's Airborne 11.18.11 -- an episode that is chock full of info about the week or so preceding this inaugural program... Presented by Aero-TV veteran videographer and Airborne Host Ashley Hale, this episode covers:

  • Lots of news from the Dubai Air Show...
  • Including the purchase of the majority of the Canadian segment of Diamond Aircraft by a Dubai firm
  • and Boeing and Airbus pick up major orders from Middle Eastern Airlines
  • The drama over Qatar Airways Airbus order
  • A "Barnstorming" Aero-Minute from Jim Campbell -- about 'Leadership'
  • Cessna's mammoth Skycatcher price increase
  • Redbird Skyport's Grand Opening
  • New Leadership At GAMA... and their first-ever 'Chairwoman'
  • ANN's ‘AVW’ -- our Aero-Video of the Week features a very high-flying LTA vehicle
  • Aero-Embarrassment David Riggs Goes Directly To Jail
  • Congress recognizes four Astronaut heroes
  • ANN's Tom Patton profiles what one airport authority is doing to deal with noise complaints
  • The FAA wants to shake us down for fees for using OUR tax-payer-funded chart data
  • And... Ryanair seems willing to enter the aerial porn distribution business... maybe.

All this and more are presented on the first edition of 'Airborne' -- an innovative programming initiative from the Aero-News Network... the aviation world's most comprehensive news and information resource!
