Kadena AFB AeroClub Orders ELITE G1000 Training Device

Will Assist Pilots In Transition To Glass Cockpits

The Kadena AFB AeroClub has finalized an order for an ELITE G500-G1K Advanced ATD equipped with the Garmin G1000 avionics suite designed around the Diamond DA42 TwinStar. The trainer will be used to train pilots in the use of new modern "glass" cockpits, and prepare pilots for the multi-engine rating.

"This order once again represents the continued popularity of ELITE training devices thoughout the world and the confidence the Kadena AFB AeroClub has in the high quality of ELITE products and services," said Stephen Gatlin, Marketing Director for ELITE. The trainer should be delivered in the third quarter of 2008 and will be a great asset to the Kadena AFB AeroClub.

Kadena Aero Club Flight Training Center is located at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan, and has been providing a wide range of training programs over the past twenty years, Private Through Flight Instructor training courses, and operates under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 61.

The Kadena Aero Club owns and operates five Cessna 172s, including one Cessna 172RG (Retractable Landing Gear). All Cessna 172s have four seats and are maintained by experienced FAA Airframe and Power plant Mechanics and are inspected annually by an FAA Authorized Inspector.

The Aero Club makes extensive use of FAA approved flight simulator in the private and instrument training courses. Since the simulator is equipped with multiengine quadrant, Kadena Aero Club offers a "simulator" multiengine training.
