French Military Jet Team Announces North American Tour Schedule

Will Perform At Airshows And Other Events In The U.S. And Canada Beginning March 25

The Patrouille de France, France's military jet demonstration team, has released details on its ambitious six-week visit to the United States and Canada this spring.

The team's first public appearance will be a photo mission with the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor as a backdrop on Saturday, March 25. Two days later, on Monday, March 27, the team will conduct a second photo mission in Washington, DC.

The team's first full demonstration will be at the Melbourne Air Show in Florida on April 1 and 2. Other performers scheduled for that show include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B, Mike Wiskus, Kent Pietsch, the GEICO SkyTypers, and Greg Collyer in his T-33.

The Patrouille de France will perform at Sun n Fun on Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4 before traveling to Kansas City, Missouri where they will participate in a non-aerobatic flyover on April 5 and 6 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of U.S. entry into World War I in 1917.

From there, the team will head back east to the Maxwell Air Force Base Air Show in Alabama where, on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, they will perform with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, Bill Stein, Rob Holland, Greg Shelton, Jeremy Holt and Greg Collyer.

The team will then head west for a photo mission in San Francisco and an air show in Sacramento on April 15 and 16.

On April 20 and 21, the French team will participate in an international military leadership event at Langley AFB in Virginia, before heading north for an air show at Stewart ANGB in Newburgh, New York.

After traveling back to Virginia for another invitation-only military event in Norfolk, Virginia on April 28 and 29, the team will perform its last North American demonstration on April 30 at the Wings over Gatineau in Gatineau, Quebec before beginning the trip back to France on May 1.
