Garmin Announces Expanded Aviation Presence in Asia

Garmin has just named Justin Chen as their Manager, Asia Aviation Sales and Support at Garmin's Singapore subsidiary. In this newly created position, Chen will be responsible for the sales and support of Garmin's aviation products in Asia. Chen will be based in Singapore and will report directly to Carl Wolf, Garmin's senior director, aviation marketing and sales.

"This new addition to the Garmin team underscores our commitment to maintaining award-winning product support worldwide," said Gary Kelley (pictured below), Garmin's vice president of marketing. "Justin's extensive aviation background and leadership experience will allow us better position ourselves to meet the current and future growth of our aviation products and programs in Asia."

Chen has over twenty-five years of experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining Garmin, Chen worked at Honeywell for eighteen years where he served as an international field service engineer responsible for on-site technical support for Honeywell's business, regional and general aviation avionics in Asia. Chen has also held positions at Delta Aviation, Airfast Services Pte. Ltd., and Heli-Orient Pte. Ltd.

Chen holds a Technical Education Council Diploma in Aerospace Studies, and a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License.
