on the Commercial Airline Pilot Training (CAPT) Program model and

Bangkok Flight Academy will be located at the Sukhothai Airport
in Sukhothai province, Thailand. Scheduled to open November 1,
2008, the 88,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility will hold up to
400 students. The first class is expected to have an enrollment of
20 students. The 12–14 month program will be based on the
CAPT Program approach which includes an emphasis on crew concepts,
journaling, pre and post flight briefings, the use of cockpit
cameras, and scenario-based training. The program will use an
advanced fleet of 25 single engine aircraft and 2 jet engine
aircraft. Included in the program is an intense Aviation English
course, preparing the future pilots to excel in an English-only
flight environment.
"According to IATA, there is a potential need to train 17,000
