Facility Produces H-47 Chinook And V-22 Osprey Aircraft For Defense Customers

Boeing is temporarily suspending production operations at its facilities in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania, in light of the company's continuous assessment of the spread of COVID-19 in the region. This action is intended to ensure the well-being of employees, their families and local communities, and will include an orderly shutdown consistent with requirements of U.S. and global defense customers.

Boeing Receives $1.5 Billion P-8A Poseidon Contract From U.S. Navy

Includes 18 Airplanes For Multiple Customers

The U.S. Navy awarded Boeing a $1.5 billion production contract for the next 18 P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The contract includes eight aircraft for the U.S. Navy, six aircraft for the Republic of Korea Navy and four aircraft for the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
