Bob sadly passed away after a brief illness on May 14, 2020. "Bob's contributions to AMA and the model aviation community are many and span his entire adult life. He served this community tirelessly, advocating for the hobby he loved dearly," said Rich Hanson, president of AMA. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all 328 Support Services GmbH Model 328-300 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a determination that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This AD requires revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference.
