The instruction manual that guided Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to a successful landing on the moon is set to be auctioned by Christies as part of a larger sale celebrating space exploration and the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. The manual was reportedly on board the Eagle lunar lander right between Armstrong and Aldrin as Armstrong reported, "Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." This scholarship consists of $5,000 toward an initial CFI certificate or an add-on rating and free, lifetime access to all King Schools courses including FIRCs for life. The total value is over $18,000.

EAA Asks Supreme Court To Avert A Crisis

Files Amicus Curiae Brief In The Case Of Sikkelee v. Precision Airmotive, et. al

EAA recently filed an amicus curiae brief, meaning one filed by someone who is not a party to the case, in the U.S. Supreme Court, urging the court to tackle an important aviation product liability case and to reverse a decision made by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court only accepts roughly 3 percent of the petitions filed annually. EAA says it have done its best to persuade the court that this case merits its attention.
