The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing an $805 million contract to build the Navy’s first operational carrier-based unmanned aircraft, the MQ-25 aerial refueler. UAS Training And Innovation Facility Planned In New Jersey

U.S. Department Of Commerce Investing $3 Million In The Project

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross has announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3 million grant to the County of Cape May to help build a 20,000 square foot multi-tenant building that will fulfill the needs of companies in the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry. The facility will be located within the Cape May County Airport. According to grantee estimates, the project is expected to create 130 jobs and spur $1.9 million in private investment.
