Bested Previous Record By About 200 Statute Miles

Delta last week broke a company distance and time en route record after ship 3351, an Airbus A330-200, flew nonstop 10,757 statute miles from Singapore’s Changi International Airport to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in 18 hours and 34 minutes. Pre-Order Reservations For 2013 Filled Up In Nine Days

The announcement by SkyCraft of plans to produce the SkyCraft SD-1 Minisport LSA in July has led to an order book that is filled through 2013. SkyCraft said on their blog that production on the SD-1 began last month, and the first completed aircraft is currently undergoing flight testing. SkyCraft is operating in full compliance to ASTM standards and expects to have certification to sell the SD-1 as an S-LSA later this summer.
