The world's airlines have scheduled 5% more capacity on 3% more
flights for the fifth month running, according to the latest
statistics from analyst OAG. The OAG FACTS (Frequency and Capacity
Trend Statistics) report for October reveals that 87,176 more
scheduled flights will operate this month, offering 16.6 million
more seats, continuing a remarkably steady upward trend for the
global airline industry compared with 2010.

Cessna 310 Pilot Ran Out Of Gas 13 Miles Short Of Hilo
A 65-year-old man delivering a Cessna 310 to Hawaii was forced
to ditch the airplane in the Pacific Ocean 13 miles short of the
coast of Hilo on Friday when he ran out of fuel.The delivery pilot
alerted ATC about 500 miles off the coast that he was running short

Company Backs Up Partnership With $200 Million Order
In the aerospace industry, things are tight all over, but
business jets based on airliners are continuing to draw interest
among those with the means to buy them. At a news conference Sunday
at NBAA, SuperJet International announced that a VIP version of the
Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional airliner has found a launch customer,
and it's none other than Comlux The Aviation Group.
Aircell, a leading provider of in-flight connectivity for
business aviation, announced Sunday that Cessna Aircraft Company
will offer Gogo Biz high-speed Internet capability as a factory
option for the Citation CJ4 beginning in the first quarter of 2012.
Cessna’s efforts to engineer and certify the system on the
CJ4 platform are already well underway and are slated for
completion in January.
