Cherokee Pilot Calls In Accident Report... From Scene

In a wireless age, I guess we shouldn't be surprised to see such reports... A Piper pilot went down in New Mexico with three pax on board -- using a cell phone to call his Father to report that the accident occurred and to request notification of the appropriate authorities. None of the POB's (according to the attached report) were listed as injured.
