Becker Touts Aviation Intercom System For ISR Aircraft

Digital System For Special Mission Platforms

Becker Avionics says it can provide cutting edge audio and intercom solutions for the airborne Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) community to help enable organizations and government agencies to make the right tactical and operational decisions. Becker Avionics manufactures and supplies a series of highly reliable, rugged aviation intercom and audio control systems for airborne military, law enforcement and special mission platforms, including the highly successful Digital Voice Communication System (DVCS) 6100. Their sophisticated audio and intercom product range includes both analog and digital system types for a wide range of airborne applications.

Becker Avionics' state-of-the-art digital communications management system, DVCS6100, provides crewmembers easy access to radios and intercom voice channels. The system is field-proven and provides a complete solution for operators demanding high quality, digital voice communication. Its high channel-to-channel isolation, software configurable multiple private intercom talk groups, and simulcast functionality provide customers with the best solution for the mission.

When compared to a legacy analog audio system, digital technology provides simplified installation, improved performance, reduced wiring and reduced installation and maintenance costs. Furthermore, the comprehensive built-in-test (BIT) feature of the DVCS6100 enables line maintenance crews to easily diagnose/isolate failures and replace system components quickly.

The DVCS6100 can be found in a variety of applications around the world; missions ranging from ISR, combat, humanitarian relief, fire fighting or transporting cargo.
