Associated Air Center Signs New Airbus A320CJ VVIP Completion Project

Will Be Company's 18th A320 Completion Project Since 2003

Associated Air Center (AAC) recently signed a contract for a new, green Airbus A320CJ VVIP narrow-body completion project. This project represents the company’s 18th A320 completion program since becoming and Airbus Completion Center in 2003.

The cabin layout for the aircraft will feature a nose-to-tail customized VVIP interior equipped with a custom forward galley complex, a master bedroom and lavatory, followed by a large main lounge separated into three areas  – a mid-cabin VIP lavatory, an aft staff area and passenger lavatory and an aft custom galley.  The aircraft will also be equipped with a state-of-the-art In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system featuring large bulkhead mounted LED screens, Audio and Video on Demand (AVOD) and surround sound.  The passenger connectivity will feature Satcom Broad Band (SSB) and GSM on-board.

The project will begin immediately with interior design and development of the technical specifications.  The new A320CJ aircraft is expected to arrive at AAC’s Dallas facility in August, 2015.

“We are pleased to have signed this project and looking forward to delivering another high-quality completion for this prominent and repeat customer,” said James Colleary, President of AAC.  “2014 has been a banner year for AAC and we are actively bidding and loading our shop and completion schedules for 2015 and beyond.”
