Upgraded: Peter Schouwenaars

Will Lead Technical Service Department At iviation

Peter Schouwenaars has been appointed to direct the development and operation of the Technical Services Department at iviation. As Director of Technical Services for the Memphis-based aviation company, Schouwenaars will oversee development of aircraft maintenance programs, asset management, maintenance facilities and personnel.

Schouwenaars is a licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization. He has over 35 years of domestic and worldwide management and maintenance experience in Part 91, 121, 129, 135, 145 and military operations. He has established Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs for various flight operations and has created maintenance operations for a Hawaii based Gulfstream corporate operator, NetJets in the Middle East and the President of the United Arab Emirates.

Schouwenaars has extensive domestic and world-wide experience with vendor auditing, policies & procedures, reliability and compliance, financial forecasts and planning, budgeting and vendor negotiations, and asset management. He has served as the General Manager of a Part 145 Depot Maintenance facility. Schouwenaars has wide-ranging experience with most corporate aircraft and commercial aircraft as large as the Boeing 747. He has been involved in numerous aircraft purchase negotiations with Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault, Raytheon and has been involved with numerous corporate aircraft completions. He speaks four languages and has been honored with the FAA Maintenance Safety Award.
