Cirrus Design Corporation, the acknowledged industry leader in
glass cockpits since 2002, today announced the addition of new
functionally to the award winning integrated system. Three new
options are being added to the Cirrus - Avidyne glass cockpit.
Cessna has begun building the Citation Mustang prototype's
tooling and parts. To date, over 3,600 detail parts have been
produced for the prototype and ground test articles. Cessna
anticipates the first Citation Mustang prototype to be completed
next year, with the first flight in the second quarter of 2005.
Developing improvements and upgrades to their existing product
line is keeping the R&D people at Chelton Flight Systems almost

Superior Air Parts has announced that the American Champion

aircraft manufacturer to use the new Vantage Engine on a certified
aircraft. ACA will use a Vantage Engine de-rated to 170 horsepower
on their new "High Country Explorer" aircraft, which is an enhanced
version of the company's popular 7GCBC Explorer.
